ISLANDS OF MURANO AND BURANO: THE GEMS OF THE LAGOON

First stop, after a fascinating boat ride in the lagoon dominated by nature, Murano, known throughout the world for its glass art.
You will visit a furnace to see the glass products made. During the visit you will have the opportunity to buy a piece of local production on site.
The tour will then continue to Burano , the island famous for its lace making and brightly colored fishermen's houses . Getting off the boat you will find yourself in a green lane and after a short walk you will arrive at the main square of the island.

The tour includes the service of a specialized official tour leader who provides some information on board and assistance on the islands. With this special excursion you will have more time to stay in Burano which is probably the most fascinating island in the lagoon , arriving in this island for lunch time you will also have the opportunity to choose one of the suggestive places for a quick lunch (not included in the ticket price) experiencing the relaxed atmosphere of this place. The departure and arrival times are perfect for those who have accommodation outside the city center. Panoramic boat, from where you can take wonderful photos of Venice and its lagoon.

• As a precaution Covid-19 the use of the mask is MANDATORY on board. So please bring your own.
• The tour ends in St. Mark's Square and not at the train station.
• It is mandatory to be at the meeting point 20 minutes before the departure time
• Unfortunately, this tour is not fully accessible for people in wheelchairs or with walking difficulties.
• Comfortable shoes are recommended
• The boats are fully covered and the tour works even in rain or snow. If the weather is exceptionally bad, the tour may be postponed to a later date.
• The tour may be shared with guests not belonging to the same group

• Meeting point from the train station: Pier in front of the KFC restaurant, near the Santa Lucia station.

HOW TO REACH THE MEETING POINT

• ARRIVING ON FOOT: The Wharf of the KFC fast food restaurant is located near the Constitution Bridge near the Railway Station. Once you arrive in Piazzale Roma, cross the Ponte della Costituzione, then turn left under the arches to reach the KFC fast food restaurant. In front of the fast food entrance, turn left and you will find the pier opposite, the assistant is waiting for you with the LAGOON TOUR sign.

HOW TO REACH THE MEETING POINT

• ARRIVING ON FOOT: The assistant will be waiting for you with the blue sign that says "LAGOON TOUR" near pier no. 1A, in front of Palazzo Cornoldi, Riva degli schiavoni 4142 (8 minutes on foot from Piazza San Marco).

-Reservations can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before the service.
-The tour does not take place in case of exceptional high tide (in this case it can be postponed to the next time / day otherwise it will be refunded).
-The boats are fully covered, the tour runs regularly in rain or snow.
